I’m super excited about your transition. Before we dive into the great sea of SAHM life, let me share my story with you.
After three years of Undergraduate and one year and a half of Graduate School, I decided not only to become a mommy blogger but to become a stay at home mom. Yes, you have read it correctly. I was three classes away from getting my MBA in Human Resources, and I had a breakdown in my life. I was on my first deployment with my husband (dual military), and I experienced some unfortunate events and had my deployment cut short to get medically evaluated.
In transitioning back home, I was lucky to have my hero, my husband, to accompany me, and let’s say things got really close and personal. Then BOOM, I was pregnant.
When realization struck that I was soon getting out of the Army due to my medical conditions, I looked for ways that I could make the transition from Army Soldier to Mommy (Minus the Disabled) Veteran. I no longer had any interest in going back into the corporate world where I would have to give up all my time as a mother and a wife to be a worker for some big named company. I always wanted to secure a lifestyle where I could work for myself, work my own hours, and make my own money.
Don’t Be Scared To Follow Your Dreams Mom!
It doesn’t take more than a minute to get on social media and see an abundance of females that have decided to follow their dreams and start their own businesses. Instead of falling into the corporate world trap, these women took the road less traveled. Now, these women are successful, influential entrepreneurs who are making their own money from home, and in most cases are also mothers.
One time for all the mothers that can make a way out of no way just for their family!

Captain Marvel has nothing on stay at home or working moms and I am always amazed by how much they accomplish on any given day. When I started elementary school my mother somehow managed to operate her business every day yet still be home by the time we got home from school. I never realized until I was a career woman with my own ambitions, how much she sacrificed to do that. I pray that your new role is fulfilling and rewarding.
